Pocket Guild is a casual, light hearted MMORPG simulator filled with humor, meant to entertain players already familiar with the genre or those who are still getting their feet wet in it. The player can create their very own guild, including choosing which class they wish to play as. Once the guild is created, it is time to gather a variety of members to do dungeons and upgrade everyone’s gear to become more powerful. All kinds of events can happen while the player is indulged in the game, such as arenas and fights within the guild. Events can happen in the background even when the player is not playing.
Development started in the beginning of September, 2015. The game started as a simple hobby, being coded by an MMO loving developer, Martin. On the journey to completion, Martin discovered a veteran MMO author Trevor Seyfried, a very friendly person, who found the games idea fun and volunteered to create the content to the dungeons. Later on Cory Perschbacher, a talented and experienced composer decided to help bring life to Pocket Guild, by creating the audio for it. The main goal when developing was for the game to be playable on lower devices as well, which hopefully we have succeeded doing. For example, an original ZTE blade should be able to play it with some smaller negatives (such as some animations not playing).
